I've always admired Mr. Carson after reading the account of his rising above the circumstances and obstacles that he was born into (Readers Digest). No one handed him anything , unlike todays policies, his determination and hard work is what got him where he is now. It was a different America then, anyone who had his persistence also had the chance to better their station in life, not because of skin color, but on education and achievement. It's very hard to watch our Nation going down the spiraling path of destruction that we see today.
