  1. Ok... you're a teacher. Have you ever asked an indentured servant what they thought about it ? Depending on the situation but sometimes it was as bad as slavery. 'Course, they're not around in America anymore so good luck with that.

  2. ​ @marie3919 Our ancestors all did whatever they had to do to protect themselves and their children and their families. They lived through it, they were a part of that history, you're on this side of that history and you have no right to judge any of them.

  3. ​ @aleathacoleman6413 The Slavs , Irish and other light skin slaves were better off than the darker slaves ? If you could go back in time, they might disagree with you. A slave is a slave and as a slave, how could one have it better over another ? Help me to make sense of that , or...make it make sense .
