  1. In the early 2000's I was sequestered for jury duty. I told the judge I was the sole caretaker of my disabled wife who had to had to be taken to kidney dialysis 3 times weekly, being in a wheelchair she also needed 24 hrs 7 days a week care. The judge wouldn't even take that into consideration but said she would excuse me temporarily but I would be sequestered again in October (a few months) . I told her go ahead, I don't care if the defendant was up for murder, I'd just find everyway to vote innocent, my wife's care was more important and I would NOT abandon her care , nor couldn't because there were no family or friends to take my place. Longer story short (this was in N.Carolina) , my wife's condition worsened and we had no choice but to move to TN so she could get better medical care. I wonder what happened when in October they expected me to show , and I didn't (couldn't). NC obviously didn't give one care about what a hardship that would've put on our family.

We used to live in the Land and of the Free..Big Brother has become more aggressive over the years , intruding into our lives and stripping more freedoms away and getting into our very privacy,yet we take it. What can we do ? At this point we're no longer the Land of The Free, we're becoming slaves to this tyrannical Government. That's messed up!
