I am not sure about Cambrian explosion, I didn't really research that but I am sure there is some kind of explanation. I've heard that organims that preclude it couldn't be fossilized that easy but even if there isn't an explanation that doesn't mean thate evolution is false. And like I said evolution is not opposed to God.

It's based in mutations and natural selection. When some animal gives birth to its offspring, that offspring has mutations which are differences in a genome. And that offspring gives birth to his offspring and so on and over time those changes accumulate and produce bigger changes. And that means that one species can produce another species but it's not instant. It's not like e.g. monkey giving birth to humans. Think of it like this: imagine yourself growing up and every day you are a little bit different but there is no e.g. first day when you become old because that change is gradual. It's the same thing with evolution. Every generation is a bit different from its ancestor. Listen to some lectures, read books on this topic, you have different yt channels who will explain this much better than me.

Evolution is not a perfect theory, it still has holes but that's not a problem. And there are scientists who may have some disputes among some lf the processes in evolution but the idea of it is pretty much accepted. Science is not against God and not all scientists who accept evolution are atheists. Science doesn't even deal with the question of God's existence.

But it depends what similarity are you looking at, because some species can look similar but could be distantly related because they would develop in the same environments. But we have genetic evidence, observations, anatomy, geographic distribution, etc. which clearly show us that all living beings are related and that we all came from a common ancestor. E.g. when you see non-functional genes in species that other evidence showed you they are closely related and they are in the spots where you would expect to see them bc their ancestor would already have those genes which they would inherit. And you can see that in dna of all species, those similiarities and genetics is just one of the ways you can prove evolution. If you wanna delve deeper into that, I recommend you watch some basics of evolution. There sre plenty of videos on yt.

And why is that interesting? Because when we see that certain animals have similiarities in anatomy, genetics, etc., we look for those marks and there are over 10 million places where that mark can be in. So the odds of two animals sharing that mark in the same place is 1/10 million. And you know how many marks do we share with chimpanzees? Over 200. So what are the chances that that is just a coincidence and that's only one part of evidence. Also why is that important is bc some people, when you show them similarities between animals, they just say that God could have used similar formula for designing us instead of common descent bc if there was a common descent, we would ofc except to see all those similiarities. First of all, from a scientific position, God is not an explanation at all bc science is something that's observable, repeatable, measurable, that makes predictions. Also if we were to accept that God designed us in that way, then is God trying to trick us by letting us think that evolution happened but actually he designed us? So you can have e.g. one group of tigers and let's say they divide in two groups and one group goes to a different environment. And over time, millions of years after, let's say they meet. The first group would be pretty much the same but another group would probably become different species of tigers and there is your evolution. One species is created from the previous species and the previous is not extinct. There is more to be said here but I don't want to overwhelm you.

They are different bc of a different environments. Monkeys and every species do evolve all the time but like I said, it's slow. Evolution doesn't work like some people think that e.g. monkeys give birth to humans. You have mutations that are differences in genome and when one animal gives birth to his offspring, that offspring has mutations and over time they accumulate which result in a bigger difference and that also means that one species can be created from another species but that change is not instant. It's not like I said above that monkeys give birth to humans, it's gradual and when you look at it like that that means that there is no e.g. first human. Think of it like this: imagine yourself growing up and every day you are a little bit different but there is no e.g. first day when you become old because that change is gradual. It's the same thing with evolution. Every generation is a bit different from its ancestor. If you want someone to explain this better than me, then you have many lectures, books, yt channels. Now you said that you will become an atheist if I give you an answer. But believing in evolution doesn't mean that you need to be an atheist. In fact there are scientists who are Christians who believe in evolution. Evolution is not opposed to God. You accept, I presume gravity. Does it mean that in order to accept that, you need to be an atheist? Science can't be opposed to God because it doesn't deal with the question of God. Science can be opposed to religion but even in religions, there are different intepretations. Philosophy deals with the question of God. Science is just us trying to explain the world empirically, meaning through observation, measurements, predictions, something that can be seen, touched, etc.
