  1. There was a time, over a decade back, when I would not put my hand over my heart or stand for the national anthem. I was mad at our government shipping our production to communist nations because that was my direct opportunity. BUT I WAS WRONG! That flag does not represent the people we elect, or the people who make up law, it represents me and you, (every citizen), our individual liberty. We can't brainlessly say "I support the flag", or "I support the country", because we are falling into a dictatorship, and they will take the flag, jam it in our faces and demand you follow their ideology of communism. (and we won't know the difference) WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE FLAG AND THE FOUNDING OF THE USA, TO THE CORE OF PHILOSOPHY!!! (if you want to keep liberty) We have to demand our individual liberty back (which is color blind), and then we can get our nation back when we stop honoring a symbol, and start honoring the actual philosophies (individualism), that created our liberty from tyrants in the first place. If we can't define our founding liberty to the core of philosophy, than that flag will define anything this communist movement wants it to define. I never knew how important philosophy is. It leads man's existence. We are simply following primitive philosophies, and ignoring the philosophies that created man's freedom in the first place.
