Define freedom? If that were true, we would be packing our bags to go East, just like people packing their back from all over the world to come to the USA in the early 1900's. We had no welfare system back then either. We had more freedom and we made the free enterprise system with it. Our mistake? We did not keep a separation of business and state. There is no human freedom in the world anymore, there is no where to go for it. Unless the dna of human beings is changed so man can not reason for themselves, freedom will make a comeback. In our lifetimes is not very probable IMO though,----but I got some of it, which is why I know what I am talking about. :)

If global warming/climate change was actually caused by man's factories, (that got mankind out of poverty), than why for over 40 years of china's tremendous growth of a so called "free market", (run by communism, now the biggest producer of pollution in the world by far), do they not have the regulations that are imposed on us and Europe? Gives communism a huge edge, doesn't it? It is not about the climate. It is about communism.

People are being brainwashed"). We will get exactly what we deserve and it all depends on how we think. That is true. This is where President Trump was too week. One man in office, with an intelligent argument for individualism over collectivism, could reverse the indoctrination of every graduate today in one term. President Trump was not good enough there. Anybody who says our rights come from God is not good enough there. Our rights come from human nature, to think, (nothing else can think like man, it is our nature), and be free to achieve as individuals. Aristotle started it. :)
