  1. Shooting air guns for a while, I think the big split on the water jug is the entrance, and the clean hole is the exit. The pressure was blown out fast, causing the split and the cap being blown off, then it went clean through the back side after the pressure was relieved. Mark it, (so you know what side you are shooting at), and check it out. I just happened to notice the pellet nose shape at the edge of the big split on a beer can, (full and shaken), and then knew that was the entrance. By the time the pellet left the jug, it was not deformed much at all.

  2. With my .30 cal. springer gun, (32 fpe), it would just put a clean hole through that jug made of flexible plastic. But other jugs made of a firmer plastic (like trade winds tea in a one gallon), it fractures the whole dame thing with big cracks over it's entirety, but not blow it apart. This gun, (hundreds of fpe, may be up to 700 hundred), would blow that jug apart, with pieces 20 and more yards away.
