  2. I find it troubling that we admire people who screw up. The platform he was standing on was not stable enough for the job. So was he adding safety? Hopefully he started using a stable platform, to actually add safety. I see it all the time now. The people who assume to be providing safety, and the people you don't want to be around. :)

Quality costs money, and when competing with communist junk, those corners are being cut. I never thought I would see crappy quality from Japanese motorcycle manufactures. But I see in on my Yamaha.

  7. It is a competition where you push the limits. Looks like he/she lost the pedal for the last fight before the finish, (foot came off), but not sure. What I can't understand is how the people in the comments here think they have a clue. Competition or not,---I will stay away from you folks.

  9. You know it and I know it. If we drive, we have all had at least one driving blunder. But we like these compilation blunder vids because they are usually worse than ours, and we were not filmed for YT blunder vids. It is almost like a victory, to see somebody mess up worse than you did, and you know it. :)

  12. He will remember that for the rest of his life. I have had some amazing close calls on dirt bikes that I pulled out of, but he has to be the luckiest man to ever drop a bike. Nasty head shake put him down. That is a bike handling/set up problem. I have never seen a movie stunt man try to pull that off. Good for him. :)

  23. Crashing is part of racing because they push the limits to try to win the race. They do not really fit in a "dumb driver" compilation IMO. But that is not to say that racers can not do stupid things on the track. The difference is they are doing their risky job, not driving to one.

  24. I used to ride and race dirt bikes. To me, I would have considered it a close call, (wheew), and continued on to the movies, but would be more aware in the future. No big deal. :) "Close one, wheew. Want to get hot dogs too?"

Looks like the street was the safest place to be in this situation. Following that one rule may have gotten them killed. That is why we need to "think". :)

  27. 7:58 I am actually semi impressed with that gal. She is stuck on a gender thing, (Don't need a man. Guess I need a man.), when it is the brain that thinks. But after her car was destroyed, she recorded very calmly and admitted she did not know what she was doing. She may not have learned how to do it properly here, (she probably knows by now.), but she had no problem admitting she made a big mistake, and that is on the path to intelligence/learning. Do you know how rare that is today for people to do? I like her. :)

  30. I got into Mt. Bike riding for a while, and met a lot of road riding guys who were trying it out. Just about every real avid road rider has been hit by a car at least once.

  32. What do you think the speed difference was? I would say max 15mph or slightly less. I am sure he got banged up a bit as he was punted into the grass area past the shoulder, (I am assuming), but I bet he did not break any bones, unless he stuck his hand out for the fall too much. It is too easy for your bike to turn if you turn your head back to see if there is traffic coming, but that guy started turning left before he even looked.

They are dangerous to be close to. hehehe The gal who super glued her eye lid shut, (false eyelash installation), Mother was funny, (and the gal good spirited IMO), "The glue does not come off. It's gonna have to stay that way.". There is something nostalgically lovely about her Mom. :)

But feeling good by being nice should not supersede "thinking", even if it makes you feel like a jerk for thinking/doing. The guy in the red truck may not understand why I am not going to leave him/her that open and blind hole into traffic, but I promise they would all feel better if that accident did not happen. :)

  54. Believe it or not. most avid bike riders are pretty good with studies like physics. But a lot of them are the social justice warrior type, and fighting for rights in areas that are disjointed. They have the attitude, "It is my right to ride here", even if they can figure out the probability that they will most likely get hit by a 2 or more ton car before one year of riding is complete. Yes, we do have the right to be stupid too, (in the face of reality), and they practice it very well.

  57. We never had them in our area when I was a kid, (70's, 80's, 90's. Rural lower Michigan USA), and we never had bears wolves or black panthers either, or even turkeys to feed them. We used to hike, camp, fish, ride horses, motorcycles, bicycles in the woods, and nothing could hurt us as kids. Now, I won't want to walk into the woods with out a gun. I think the state planted them. They say, "but they are indigenous and were here before you were!". That is not an argument for our safety, and I am glad they have not figure out how to bring a T-Rex back to life yet. The global commies don't want people living in rural area's in our future I guess. A DNR officer, (Department of Natural Resources) told me that "There are no cougars in our area.", (now they do admit it), but said "no" when I asked if I could shoot one. lol I am pretty sure that if you work for the state,---you are not allowed to figure out what your doing. :)

  62.  @larrylarry1137  "Above the law" I think it is needed to define what laws are proper laws, (like laws that protect individual liberty), and what laws are actually lawlessness (Like the patriot act), that a dictatorship would use. Traffic laws for the flow of traffic are still moral. But we live under a lot of immoral laws today, and I say we are above those laws because it is not moral to live under lawlessness no matter who is enforcing/committing them.
