I think I will take his word for that, partly because he is a retired Judge with no reason to speak untruth about it that I can think of, and because this Bannon testimony here reminded me of it.

Even in elected positions, the state party system has more control of the school boards than we do, or that lady would not be there with a very valid complaint. Look who they hired. I remember a road near me in Grand Rapids Michigan that got so bad, people were slowing down to 5 or less mph and dodging the biggest ones. The plastic wheel cladding's, (glued on a steel wheel to make it look like an alloy wheel basically and very popular), were coming off peoples wheels in that short off road section, and a local guy hung them up in a tree next to the bead road, like ornaments on a Christmas tree, (That picture made the local paper). The people working for the city, with city cars and trucks, (paid for by the tax payer), were just hammering though that section at 25mph. So they don't understand why you have to dodge potholes.

They are as politically confused as the rest of the population, which makes sense on how we got here, and they probably don't want to lose any state benefits. I have found, if you work for the state, you often can't see past your benefits, and the free market scares you. But 2% of the teachers and fired medical staff today,---can create some great competition. Once you get fired from the state, (probably for having morals), is really the time they have no choice.   231. If the USA was based on Christian values, why was there not a USA being formed 1776 years earlier? We are losing our liberty partly because the Church has hijacked our actual founding of "individual liberty protected by law", and 'free people creating the free enterprise system with their minds, and their right to do so, (liberty). That is what formed the USA,----and this pope, who is a communist, agrees that individual liberty and our free enterprise system must be destroyed and taken over by the state. Communism uses the Church for "morality", and they could not if they both were not based on altruism.
