Natural law did not come from God. If you believe that you will never get anybody outside of your church to agree, (very divisive). Our rights did not come from God either, and is very divisive to say so, (which is why it is said). What God did give us was a brain that can reason, (if practiced), to figure out reality, and we figured out the natural law of man, based on the brain of the individual, to be free to think and achieve,---and we formed the USA based on individual liberty protected by law and free people creating their free enterprise system. I stopped listening to this guy several years ago. I thought he was sharp at one time, but he is "just another one.". He has no problem mixing our free enterprise with communism either, and we have lost that compromise, like we always do against evil.

What about objective reason, thinking? You did not mention that. Is our ability to figure out reality not human, and maybe our gift from God, that allowed us to figure out the nature of man is to be free to think and achieve. Does your argument come from an age before the "age of reason", which kicked off the USA and with the advent of math/science, the industrial revolution that got mankind out of poverty exponentially better than any dictatorship or religion ever did or ever will? What about the mind God gave us? The thing that figured out human freedom. Why is that not preached today? Because the Church has to go through one more reformation to declare individual liberty as the way for man to live, and those free people crating their free enterprise that trades with money among new friends, instead of blood with old enemies. What about the mind? Isn't that what makes us human? You are still pulling weeds by hand man. God did not give us human rights. He gave us a brain, we figured out what the rights of man are, and formed the USA! We will never save this place with the argument you adopted. I thought about mine.
