Because they did not think they were smart enough, (or are too lazy), to make a dime in the free enterprise system, and they did not want to settle for a state "workers" job. They get their worthless selves into politics and follow anybody pulling the chain. They don't know how to do anything else for money. That is the only choice they left themselves. It used to be that good business people did a term or so,---and went back to the free market. Now it is people who can't do good business, taking orders from big pricks who hate us being able to make money, so they make sure we can't do math and ship our lives to communist china! Jeeeech, easy to understand.

  3. Well, we are not facing communism today because of a one party system. Or are we? I say no parties, and let any individual run based on his/her own merits,--with campaigning being equal/free---and the only thing socialized in the nation. The candidates will also have to work from the local level and up, and grow from there, just like any fair competition. No imports. No "new guys" with tons of "experience". Just some thoughts so we don't let a party system of voting drag us into communism. Hey, The results are in.
