What would have happened if the Delta employee, (occupant of the hotel room, as the door was breached), if he tried to rightfully defend himself with a legal gun? Would he have had a better chance with criminals?

@corpsmankind "but a steady flow of legal immigration is what makes America Great 👍" Not if they consume more then they produce. Our great grand parents came here through Ellis Island with nothing for opportunity in free enterprise, and got themselves out of poverty. That is what made the USA Great. That is what made the USA "The land of Opportunity".

You are going to have to take that case to court on your own. I don't think it is possible to find a law firm who will go against the state today.
2
Unfortunately, that also means you may not get a Judge who will go against the state today.
2
The law is wrong, but you miss the real reasoning. Read my post above.

Redistribution of money. Redistribution of production to communism, (and the destruction of education). Redistribution of human beings in "need". And you are worried about public welfare? How do you think we got here?
1
@angelisa368 The mistake you make is asking to be taken care of, instead of demanding a good/productive education and our free enterprise back so we can take care of ourselves like adults.

communistic policy.

They probably won't quit with a raise, paid for by government subsidies under the "right to shelter" lawless law. Oh yeeea, communism pays well today, until there is no more free enterprise to steal from.
1
Why do we think "shelter" (or transportation, clothing, medical care, for examples), is a right? Why do we think that anything somebody else produced is a right for everybody else, (what communism claims)? We don't have a right to something just because somebody else produced it. But we have a right to use our minds to produce something,---for ourselves or for sale. "The right to shelter" is unconstitutional, because it means "the right to somebody else's shelter". It is theft.
1
Under "the right to shelter", you can bet the Hotel said yes to additional tax payer paid subsidized room payment. That also would be theft.

I find it,----enlightening.

The philosophies of communism have been running our federal government since before WW2. You can thank "the progressive movement" (starting in the very early 1900's, ever since we started making money with a electrical grid), for dragging our nation and our lives into a dictatorship.

Run for office with a brain and a big mouth. Have to form a new party, one with integrity to individualism/free enterprise, how the USA was created.

Being considered "children" is the problem. And today, the citizens are being treated like farm animals.

What makes you different from them, asking for welfare for all others to pay for? If your need is a virtue and what you can produce is not, then you should get on that boat also. It is immoral to consume more than you produce. What you should be demanding is an education system that teaches you stuff like math/science (the tools to produce), and demand that we get our production back from communist china (for one example), demanding our free enterprise back in our hands, so we can have pride in ourselves with self esteem, and not beg for welfare and be a burden on the rest of the citizenry.
1
It is another form of redistribution.
