  1. From what little research I did, nitrogen actually has about the same thermal expansion rate as air, with more variance happening because of humidity in the air. Interesting valve operation though; must be a lot of cylinder wall (for the valve) stiction (I would think) that would be nice to eliminate. Your a sharp young man, keep up the good work. Most people don't realize our minds are like our bodies, the more we work it out, the better and stronger the mind gets also. I learned it in college; something I was never taught. So what do we do? We decide to stop learning things the day after some graduation. Never make a decision to stop learning things, and this is the reason why. The more advanced a free society is---the more the citizenry has to be able to think (or we start voting for socialism---or worse). Now human beings are the only living entity on Earth that can pass on information from generation to generation,---so listen up! :) It is a breath of fresh air, to see a young man who may be on his way to greatness.
