The first one. I can't think of a dumber thing to do on a freeway that is up to speed, than to stop in a lane. Is he trying to get them both killed? I don't even like being stopped in a left hand turn lane with traffic passing me on my right. My goodness, on a freeway, it is like parking on the train tracks with a train coming. If I could not safely get around him quickly, I and not sitting there. I would have to push him. See ya at the next gas station buddy, where we can stop. If people would follow my advise, most "road rage" incidents would not happen, (outside of a reckless driver). "Just let people go where they need to go."

I think it is fun to drive on, to a point. I like the skill of searching for traction, and find I can even stop better on most slippery roads with out anti-lock brakes. I also raced Motocross for 10 years as a kid, (dirt bikes, back when a kid could afford one.), and that made me learn to pay attention to what my tires are doing on the ground, and braking for a corner is a big part of racing, so you get the feel for it. So I like driving in the slippery stuff,---but not on a freeway. Too much energy, (as in ft/lbs of impact), in too many hands there. :) Get in a empty snow covered parking lot, and slowly practice a bit. It is good practice for the road. :)
