We have about half of our population or maybe more now, on some kind of government subsidies. That is due to 50% of our manufacturing sent to communism in china over the last 40 years, (with no very expensive EPA type regulations in the trade agreements, note.). Is it immoral to consume more than you produce? Have you seen all those welfare credit cards people use in front of you in the grocery check out lane? You just keep working---and everything will be fine? Employment now depends on politics,---not free enterprise with our ability to compete, and I doubt you will be able to do much better than just over poverty if you try hard. Good luck. Glad I am old.

It can takes an average 165 manufacturing employees to make the products that one tech guy and one sales guy puts on the market. Where did all of our companies go for manufacturing over the last 40 plus years? To communism. Ya see, it was made legal to let communism steal our free enterprise,---and now our jobs, because of a lack of our own free enterprise political direction, (our elected have been helping out communist china for 75 years. How "progressive"), depend on communistic politics. That is right CNN, even your jobs and lives depend on what communism will do next. It probably will not need you someday. Just a political decision.

Have you noticed they are nothing manufactured in the USA? Just retail, tech support and a electric car company that never made a profit. It is manufacturing that creates a retail sales force, and it is 10 times better economically for the entire nation,---to manufacture things at home under free enterprise, not in china under communism. Since we let government take over our industries,(and ship the manufacturing to communism), all the jobs you have had to depend on now lives and dies according to politics, not free enterprise. Hmm, I wonder if all manufacturing engineers would be a better economists than any "political economist" living today.
