@kirkpatticalma7911 What if both sides are wrong? What we need to be able to teach our kids is how to "reason" and figure out reality, not simply pick 2 sides of competing collectivism. In reality, your students will no have a choice of what dictatorship they want to run their lives. Take in some Ayn Rand so you can see the difference between good and evil, (and I am not talking about religion, but how man should live on Earth), and you will see you only give your students bad choices, and never taught them how to figure out that reality. You have a better choice, until communism wins. Then there will be no other choice.

@revavi I will agree with you, because I found this presentation very shallow and void of premise. I am looking for the clash of communism vs individual liberty protected by law, and he did not go that deep. But neither will you. What side are you on, Individual Liberty protected by law, or a one world communist nation? Which "nationalists" are you for? That is the only philosophical choice we have,---until we are a full blow communist world. After that, there are no choices for a citizenry. Intellect is dead, which is why his and your speeches are so shallow. Just answer this one question, "How should man live on Earth?", and we can start to have a conversation that means something.

@mlankford6077 John Hopkins is one of the leaders in progressive/communistic universities of the early 1900's progressive movement, where Richard Eli, (one of the first progressive professors from Germany who came here "to change the American mind"), taught FDR,---who was a socialist/communist. The study in our universities will change the philosophies of which we live under as it changes our minds, and you can bet your sweet bippy that the study of law was their first target. You might as well give credit to the colleges of stalin. In fact---you are.

What does "hope" mean? Who does not have hope? Is it now "The land of hope, but have no idea what we hope to achieve."? "The land of opportunity" had a meaning. It meant that you had the individual liberty to participate freely in a free enterprise system, and not depend on any government for your existence. What does "hope" mean? To me, it is the step before begging.
