  2.  ekimshield  We lie and twist so much, and spew stuff we don't know, how do we know what ever we learn about history is the truth, or from what perspective it was taught? Find the perspective of the teachers, and it becomes easier to see what is truth, and what is moral. :)

  3. God may be perfect, but all of his teachers here on Earth are terrible. My God sees no "reason", (something man can do if practiced), to believe man can not be as perfect as him,---and he knows man has to be free to think enough to do it. I think God saw what man did with his/her ability to "reason", figuring out reality in the universe, setting man free from force, (USA mostly) and creating the industrial revolution that got mankind out of poverty and said,---"This is gooooood", (trading money instead of blood and becoming friends). If the Church would have one more reformation stating that living under the philosophies of individual liberty protected by law, with those free people creating their free market, as the most supreme way for man to live, then communism would fall around the world, as it would no longer be able to use a communistic Pope for any morality that communism does not have. The Church would also grow exponentially, also including my fanny in a Pew again. :) Why is there "no independent good"? How about men with the ability to reason on their own? We would still be living in the dirt, fighting some primitive tribal group warfare,---with out those independent men. This nation was based on independence, both as a nation, ans as every citizen of it, and that is what allowed man to be great.

  4. Hillsdale: The volume on my end is pretty low. I have a 340 watt stereo system in my garage, and I can barley hear it over the pretty quiet furnace that is running.
