  4. Hey so there are some basic economics that show how your argument is bad. Sexism is a systemic thing. Employers often pay women less because they think women are worth less, but that's not always the case. In some instances, the employer caters to a customer base who doesn't view women as equal, which means they won't be as satisfied dealing with the business through a woman. They will then pay women less to make up for that perceived cost of doing business. Legally the pay has to be the same. It very often isn't. There's a reason why capitalists tricked people into thinking that talking about your salary is taboo.
