Why? Doesn't it get tiring being hateful and wrong all the time?

@mckinleyknight1775 Yes, during the Civil Rights Movement, there was a party switch.

@jackthyers644 We all have different ideas of greatness. And the whole "again" part is particularly messed up. America was never great.
2
You know most immigrants don't actually do that, right? And you can't get here in the first place when you come from nothing unless you can literally walk.
2
@jackthyers644 Are you saying that recognizing racial inequality is racist?

based

America has 2 parties that are almost identical. You have a centrist to center right party and a right to far right party. The left has no power in America.
1
I mean it kind of matters a lot though because political policies affect our lives. For example, if you want to prevent people from having to live in their truck or something, you'd want to enact leftist policies that push for housing as a basic human right.

Who does the KKK vote for these days?
1
@សៀវភៅវិញ្ញាសាជីវិត I mean back in the day before the alignment shift, yeah. Then the Dems sided with the civil rights movement and alienated their racist voters. That's why the modern KKK votes Republican now.
1
The slaves were black in America though, and that's the frame of reference here. The racist systems of that slavery are still present today.
1
What's best is neither party. The Republicans are obviously evil and the Democrats are terrible at combatting that evil often governing the exact same way they would.
1
@Jigajo13 They advocate for policies that increase the suffering of working people and minorities for the benefit of wealth, ego, and rigid hierarchy.
1
@andypozuelos1204 No, you're thinking of systemic racism. Racism in general can come from anyone.
1
What does it mean? At what point was America great?
1
@7EiamJ7 That's not how that works.
1
@7EiamJ7 Take your argument to its natural conclusion. You would have to necessarily believe it's racist to point out that racism exists.
1
@7EiamJ7 You're arguing that it's racist to point out white privilege. White privilege exists because of systemic racism. Therefore, pointing out racism is racist according to you.
1
@7EiamJ7 Lmao you're doubling down. You're claiming that it's racist to point out racism. But yes, police are systemically sexist.
1
@7EiamJ7 It's in the phrase. Racism as part of a system.
1
@7EiamJ7 Wait, you think it only counts if it's a written rule or law?
1
@7EiamJ7 You might as well be asking me to explain myself for the claim that the sky is blue. Lower wages, worse infrastructure, harsher policing, worse housing, higher generational poverty, worse education, etc. The system as is perpetuates all of this.
1
@7EiamJ7 By what metric?
1
@belladonna8200 Lol no you don't.
1
@belladonna8200 You don't believe in small government if you're a Republican.
1
@belladonna8200 Okay, now you believe in small government. Massive companies though? Just fine.
1
@GC-yw1mn Not to mention local media is dominated by conservatives with Sinclair owning local stations all across the country.
1
I wish. I'd actually vote for Democrats if that were the case.
1
Hispanic people can be white.
1
Yeah, between election cycles, they act like conservatives. They pretend to be progressive to get elected then govern every bit as backwards and evil as Republicans.
1
@andypozuelos1204 Why not? Universal health care is easier to implement on a larger scale.
