  5. Nazis were far far right wing. The right left divide is about preserving hierarchy vs abolishing hierarchy. Nazis were all about created a rigid hierarchy in society, so they were right wing. Nationalism is also a big thing there. Communism is good actually. The Democrats today aren't leftist, and they certainly weren't leftist when they founded the KKK before the ideology shift during the civil rights movement. Both parties in America are racist, but idelogically speaking, racism always has a home on the right more than the left.
