  1. I don't see how anyone could sit in this, then sit in a Model Y, and come to the conclusion they are in any way remotely comparable vehicles. This thing is FIVE years old now and its looks, power, range, and interior stack up well to Mercedes' new EQB EV SUV. Although nobody buys it; I think history will show this was probably the very best all around EV of its era. Its only competition when it came out was from Tesla and those have horrible interiors and construction quality, offsetting their range advantage. Not to mention this actually drives like a Jag, something no Tesla will ever be able to. Ford Mach E is now a competitor but its interior, while not as horrible as Tesla, is still inferior to the Jag.

I'm sure this thing will be a "run forever" bulletproof vehicle like the MDX and RDX before it, but wow cars are just mind-blowingly expensive. $36K is about where this should be; almost $50K for this is nuts----just get the RDX. I did drive an X1 recently and while it cornered flat like any BMW, it rattled my teeth over bumps. I wouldn't even bother with it over a smoother ride in the ADX.

  4. I like that it is evolutionary because imho, the current gen Mustang is the best looking since the thing came out in 1964. The "moar skreenz!" treatment inside is unavoidable I guess; don't love it but at least it mimics the look in Benz and BMW instead of ugly tacked on iPad look which I despise.

  5. There are restrictions on the height of the front of cars for pedestrian safety reasons. A "blunt" nose speads the damage to a human body over a wider area than a "narrow" nose. If the nose has to be tall, you may as well pretty it up with something (unlike the "duckbill" slab seen on a Tesla, which is quite ugly).

  9. LOL. Same week that HyundaiKia fined over $200M for delaying the recall of 1.6 MILLION cars for garbage engines that fall apart in a few years. These aren't cars from the "bad old days"; some are 2016s!!!! You buy one of these GV80s you are either on Meth or you work for Hyundai....
