  1. Hilarious!! I know that feeling. I had a Prius and the low fuel indicator is a single "beep" and the warning light is the SAME color as all the other dash indicator lights. I have a 50 mile work commute and I just left work one day like nothing unusual. I'm on highway , music playing, my mind on a dozen other things, and I notice the distance readout says "0". I'm like "oh sh**"...I had no idea if it was 0 when I left work or had just flipped to 0. Of course I'm doing 80 on a highway and no idea where nearest station is. I heard a Prius can do like 10 miles on battery alone when it runs out of gas but at VERY low speed; I had to get off highway NOW. When I found a station and crept in I was just like you----please don't die 50 feet from the pump!!! Hahahah!
