  3. You really have to wonder why the DEMs and the EU Left decided years ago to go after Russia. Prior to 2014, not a single EU or NATO member had any real concern about Russia. Nothing about "they coming for us!" , or "rebuild the USSR!". At most just a grudging respect for how Putin outfoxes his opponents in the West in terms of economic and/or political influence competition around the world. We all even cheered as Russia helped smash Islamic State . Then right after the "little Green men" in Crimea; it all changed. It was as if Merkel and the rest really believed they could encroach on Russia by singing sweetly (as they slowly reached around with the knife). Why?? Only the history books in the 2030s and beyond will tell...
