  1. Can someone please tell me why NATO believes it can win a nuclear war with Russia? Russia has clearly said for a decade "we will use nukes before we lose Crimea". I don't see a lot of nuance in that statement. Does NATO believe they are bluffing?

  2. Nationalism played a huge role in the start of World War One; the Austro-Hungarian Empire had a Nationalist with a gun or bomb on every corner. Nationalism also set off World War Two; the Spanish Civil War was a practice field for Germany, Manchuria the same for Japan. Here we go again now with this Nationalist Leader who doesn't seem to own a suit, telling us we need to fight World War Three on his behalf and nobody who learned the lessons from the first two times is alive to tell him to shut up and go away.

  5. Just read between the lines over the past few months and the picture becomes starkly clear: NATO is ratcheting down arms for Ukraine because they are planning to use their output themselves. Why bother sending a missile to Ukraine when you can just fire it at Russia yourself? All those strikes we are seeing in Crimea have "NATO" written all over it. They gave Ukraine a chance with the offensive and it failed; remember when Germany said Ukraine wasn't "using our weapons right."? Then recently Ukraine telling its allies to "shut up" as they "know how to fight Russia"? When you need a tough job done its usually better to just do it yourself.

  7. Read between the lines: Biden isn't going to throw his DEM base, that wants unrestricted immigration, under the bus in an Election Year. Which means the GOP isn't going to vote the money. Just think about it if Biden caves; he loses a huge chunk of his base AND with no guarantee of a positive outcome in Ukraine, next September he could be right back here with Zelensky again begging for money after another $20B army is destroyed, and half his voting base angry at him for closing the border. GOP could run Mickey Mouse and win in a landslide....
