  2. So if this is a race to see who can take their enemies' territory first, Ukraine was foolish to enter such a race. Even at their "surprise invasion" pace of 1100 km2 in 3 days, it would take them about 5.7 million days to conquer all of Russia. While Russia, moving slower through fortified territory would take about 4,000 days to conquer all of Ukraine. Tortoise and the Hare indeed..."
