  1. I haven't owned a 5er since I sold my E34 525i to my buddy in 2000. I was very close to grabbing a 2021 530e when the Fed and State tax credits were taking $10K off the price of it (making it cheaper than a 530i), but the State one ran out before I could buy and I didn't bother. This one is thankfully not a brutishly ugly armored vehicle like the new 7, but it is definitely not tastefully elegant like the current one. I'll pass...
