The crazy thing is we had all that 30 or 40 years ago. In Wrath of Khan, Captain Terrell was black and sacrificed himself heroically.

Andor reminds me of one thing over and over. When the person at the top---the King, Queen, Chieftain, Emperor, etc. has no moral limits----that quickly filters down to every level of leadership beneath that person. Soon, people who may actually have once had moral limits lose them, and those who never had them, become emboldened to commit horrific acts of depravity without even thinking about it. No, you can't avoid its message about the recent history of the United States.

I didn't expect much, but my 17 year old daughter, who is a Marvel Superfan, wanted to see it so we went. It was much as I expected; forgettably mindless. Since I expected that I wasn't disappointed. I'll say this however, it was better than Avatar 2, and ten times better than Wonder Woman 1984.

I fell asleep in Eternals. You may discount just me, but 2 of the 3 other people I went with also fell asleep in that movie. That is 75% of a group of paying customers (most of whom have seen virtually all of the previous films), so bored they go to sleep. I thought it was just me that I no longer even want to see ANY new Marvel product. I liked Loki, Moon Knight was OK, I could not finish Wandavision or Multiverse of Madness, and I never bothered with Hawkeye or She-Hulk. Ouch...

I finished the season a few days ago and I felt like I'd eaten cotton candy. I liked seeing the Rancor, Cad Bane and a lot of old references, but when it was all over I just didn't care. You are 100% correct here. The actors have nothing to do; you put Jennifer Beals in there and give her 10 words then blow her up??? It looks great, but as usual, the storytellers have been gone from Hollywood for a long time...

I saw Wrath of Khan in the theater at age 12 and even then it impacted me more emotionally than almost any film I've seen in the past 20 years.

I cringed when I saw here the next day with a little slice of pepperoni on her belly as if all her internal organs in and around that beam of light wouldn't have been instantly vaporized. Yet, even that didn't make me cringe as much as the space battle where SIX fighters could not even damage Ahsoka's ship, and even TURBOLASER cannons could only scratch it! I just can't take it anymore...

For the first time in my life, I feel asleep during a Marvel movie. My 15 year old daughter loved it though....
