  2. I read in California, so many people installed solar (with decades of juicy rebates of taxpayer money), that now there are times the State has MORE electricity than it needs (and can store). California is already at the point it throws away excess electricity (they do this by dialing back generation, as one can't really toss energy into the trash). Imagine in 2100, when every State has a fusion reactor-----very likely half will be shut down part of the day because otherwise the price of electricity will drop to zero. As a Capitalist country, that is worse than having no energy at all..."

  3. As a child in the 80s, I was proud to live in a NATO country and read Tom Clancy thrillers that used NATO codenames for all Russia military equipment. Now, I am ashamed of NATO, and I no longer refer to any Russian military hardware by NATO names; Russia has earned the right for her weaponry to be called by their proper Russian names at all times.

  4. There needs to be a "why" first, before the "how". Exploration, probably within a century. Anything resembling Sci Fi permanence, probably 300 to 500 years from now.
