  1. I think its worth it. You are paying for exclusivity; you'll never see another one while you are driving. All the others you mention aren't limited editions so not really apples to apples (and the Tesla is joke quality compared to all others so comparing that to an Acura is like an apple to toilet paper).

  2. Reservations on the red one just opened: $2K refundable deposit and they say "low to mid $60s" for the price. I think that is fine. Just the carbon fiber extras would put another $3K on the price of the regular fully loaded Type-S and you're at $58K anyway. Another 10% for a hand built limited edition? YES. However the blue one you can't reserve till December so I have to wait... 😞
