  1. Hyundai and Kia are too vertically integrated. Their parent companies all use in house components making them cheaper, but nothing is best of breed. Engines blow up, DCTs grind to pieces, etc. Their EVs may change this but I'd wait at least five more years before trusting their EVs. Toyota for me.
