  1. All high used car prices do to me is make me go to the dealer and buy a new one. For example, right now Camaro ZL1 is about $70K brand new; its not a really new hot thing, so no markup. If you look at the used market, a 2018 is $60K. If you can afford $60K, you can afford $70K. Why on Earth would you buy a five year old one just to save $10K? You wouldn't; you'll buy the new one.
