  1. As an American, it is sometimes hilarious to listen to a pissed off Brit. It isn't just the accent, British people use FAR more "proper" English words in their everyday lives than Americans do. Most Americans only have a limited vocabulary and even the ones that have an extended one usually forget most of it when they are angry and go right to slang. For this reason I often find it so entertaining listening to a Brit go off, I don't even pay attention to why they are mad. Had a girlfriend from London a decade ago and when she'd get angry with me I'd smile and laugh because being cursed out by her was very entertaining. How seriously can you take it when a woman tells you she's "absolutely livid with you!!" ?? That didn't last... :-)
