  1. Shops near me have arrangements with local tow guys and if you are within 10 miles or so they'll come get your car for maybe $80 tops; one shop will get it "free" if you do the repair with them. A few years back I tried to do the trans service on a my 2011 Jag XJ and I got it all off and buttoned up and started refilling it when I saw a leak from ONE (of 20!) tray bolts. Tried to tighten and the thing snapped right off. Called the shop "come get it!" 🙂 That's when I learned NEVER buy parts off ebay.....maybe a light fixture or interior part you can get away with, but serious critical parts? No way. Cheap isht from China-----don't bother.
