  1. The Tahoe truck-based design means if you tow or haul heavy loads frequently, the Tahoe is the better choice imho. However, if you rarely tow, and maybe just fill this with 6 or 7 people and cargo a few times a year. This is a great option. Just get the "tow package" on it with the transmission oil cooler. I had a 2012 Traverse that did not and by 8 years old the trans was dying because I have a big family and we go up into the mountains frequently.
