  1. I personally have always liked the Ghibli but Maserati made an error a decade ago deciding to go for volume. Becoming an Italian BMW destroys the brand; BMW rose to its level of prominence; Maserati was always far "above" a lowly BMW and they decide to come downmarket to chase volume?? Bad idea. Alfa Romeo can be the Italian BMW (and are well on their way to achieving that). Maserati should be Porsche at a minimum; maybe even slightly above.

  2. People sneer at high-end makes until they actually buy one and realize why they cost more than a Chevy. You are driving a Jag and wondering why it costs significantly more than a Tesla, Ford, Hyundai, or Kia??? That's like driving a Bentley and wondering why it costs more than a Buick.

  4. Jag R group has been building most excellent V8 (and V6) powered coupes , sedans and this for many, many years now. XKR goes back to 2007, XJ and XFR back to 2010, Type F and XE-R back to 2015, etc. Why y'all acting all surprised?
