The French sent a contingent of troops to Slavyansk four days ago to help prepare its defenses and today an Iskander took them out. Nobody left the help prepare the defense of Slavyansk. 😂

@kylenolan3138 sigh...typical Western mindset: "just because I cannot do it, no one can." One missile with EMP can fry every satellite in a sphere limited only by the yield of the warhead.
2
"Decency" and "Honor" are relative terms, like "morality". However having "heart" is far more objective and Russia fighting off (and soundly beating) the money and weapons of almost 50 other countries in over two years of brutal combat, and their economy stronger than its been in decades in spite of 1600 sanctions on them, tells a different story. Russia is the very definition of "heart". The monuments they'll build after this war will be exceeded only by those from WW2..."

Just coming to check up on his "investment". Blinken is a demon in a $2500 suit. It was diplomats like he and Nuland among others that convinced Zelensky to fight two years ago instead of negotiate a settlement. They did this by promising to financially sustain Ukraine for the duration of the war, and provide all the weapons Ukraine would need. There would be no war but for men like this. Ukraine didn't even thank him for the $1B. Now, Blinken's little "pet" grows disdainful of its master; telling him "this money isn't a "gift", we EARNED this by doing your dirty work for you." This is as nauseating an example of naked Imperialist opportunism you are likely to see this century.
2
You are either Ukraine MoD, or insane. Or both....
2
That is not true that Europe is only paying "a small fraction". Germany alone has lost over $700B in economic value to its economy due to the destruction of Nordstream by the Biden Administration and Ukraine working together. That is by far the largest "loss" of any single Western country involved.
2
NATO changed the weapons use policy; donated weapons now have no restrictions on their use. "
2
I wouldn't go that far; they just epically incompetent.
2
An old professor many years ago told me that if a President is hated by everyone, he is doing his job very well.
2
Been trying to unravel what NATO is really worried about here; a few thousand inexperienced troops (in a war with over a million experienced troops currently engaged) , is no real tactical threat. Also, let's please stop with the silliness about "escalation"; there's 3 years of video of troops from 20 different countries in Ukraine fighting against Russia. So why all the panic in the West??

I believe Dems want to starve Zelensky into negotiations, but want it to appear that Republicans "did it" so years from now they can say "we wanted to keep funding the war but GOP wouldn't let us". That's why Dems don't take border seriously, they want the funding to fail. US and Ukraine had different goals; Ukraine wants to go back to 1991 at any cost, US just wanted Russia to bleed. Dems feel they got enough for the $120B and now ready to move on to something else. Zelensky will accept his fate like a good pup and take what's left from Putins table

For the first time that I've ever seen (and I've been watching daily military bloggers for over a year now), RU used an Iskander to take out a tank. A tank. ONE tank. Their drone followed it to where it was hiding in the treeline and an Iskander showed up to delete it. US estimates one Iskander to cost $3M, but that is highly unlikely to be realistic if they are now dropping them on a single tank. Either they got a bunch of Iskander-clones from NK and/or Iran on the cheap; or they are now really, really PO'ed...."

@eliderrick18 breaking the law sounds pretty anti-American if you ask me. Why do you break our laws? Are you American?
1
He shouldn't even respond to her. Harris doesn't possess one ounce of independent thought on Ukraine; she just parrots the DEM party line. Ignore her...
1
Didn't "lose" them, DEMs intentionally just distributed them all to their waiting relatives in the interior. You know, for a future "asylum hearing" that will never take place
1
Two armies fighting is not the same as what the US/UK did here last night....
1
Biden is caving because Ukraine won't last till the Summer. Problem is the GOP doesn't want to fund Ukraine as they know how unpopular it is.
1
here we go again for yet another war. West media only shows us the school, maternity ward, retirement home, or daycare center but never the ammo depot, HQ, airbase, port, or tank factory
1
I'm not thrilled about Musk being given even more power than the $500B in our tax money bestowed upon him, but I never am 100% happy with any President I've voted for...
1
Yeah, but Biden and his cronies are rushing to ship out every cent of billions left in the pool of Ukraine money, trying their best to subvert the Will of The People who clearly and definitively voted AGAINST further expenditure on this stupid useless war.
1
Why haven't we seen (or heard from) Biden? Why is State so coy about the presence of American Strykers and Humvess (at least) clearly seen inside Russia (in violation of last confirmed Biden use policy on 5/30/24)? Why has the US found it necessary to send TWO carrier battle groups to the ME? I'd hate to be this guy...."
1
Trump = End the 80 year "Pax Americana" because it has bankrupted us and created no "Pax" at all. Harris = More neo-con, shining-light-on-the-hill regime change policy that has never worked. Your choice.
1
Putin is trolling the US and these clowns fell for it...
1
Most DEMs didn't hear her speech last weekend in GA. Of the two of them, Mike Johnson is the calm, measured and reasonable one... You get someone like MTG in that seat, it'll be Dem-pocalypse upon the Earth
1
Right like the 'base" in Syria that moved back and forth between the border depending on the needs of the "narrative" at the moment?
1
So what is the penalty for South Korea lying?
1
Whether you hate the guy or not, that's gotta be the highlight of your year to see Trump hand you your Happy Meal!!
1
UK just announced the largest increase in their defense budget in a generation. Whatever the CIA told Mike Johnson last week scared him so much he completely flip-flopped. Put the pieces together and yeah.....we all going to war in a year or two.
1
I've never been more convinced Joe Biden is not running the country; someone (more likely a small group of someone's) else is. There is NO way he has the cognitive capacity to orchestrate or manage this many nations jockeying around open warfare. There is a small chance that person or group is not even American.
1
Did they sign the minerals deal??
1
I love that she calls it “crap”..😂
1
Most on the American Left have chugged down Musk for so long, they literally share his DNA. Those few of us who always saw him for what he was----an opportunistic grifter----are not surprised.
1
How long before the US news media gives up carrying water for the Biden Administration on Ukraine? It took about five years in the Vietnam War before the US news media stopped parroting President Johnson and began to actually report the truth, no matter how inconvenient. We are now 2.5 years into this debacle-----I guess CNN/BBC and all the rest like Forbes only halfway through shoveling the mountain of Biden Administration dung at us expecting us to believe it..... Sigh....
1
It is a close race; it always is. However if it breaks big one way, my belief is that will be for Trump. The Democrat Party wants to send US troops into Ukraine; it is the ONLY way the troops from other NATO countries will go (and UK, FR, Poland, + the little Baltics all want to go too). NO one will go without the US though, and that can't happen without Congress Approval. If Harris wins and the DEMs get Congress it will guarantee a US Army deployment to Ukraine I cannot believe a majority of the US population wants to risk open war with Russia over Ukraine so I believe Trump will win, and he'll win big. I'm voting Trump as I have two sons age 21 and 14 and I do not want the Democrats in power until they are about age 40 or so....then I may risk voting for a Democrat again.
1
LOL. At the Elem. school behind my house, there were 12 voting stations and I was the only one in there. Benefits of WFH I guess.
1
US and its obedient pup, the UK about to attack another presumed weakling. They better be careful, as these days weaklings are turning out to be lions...
1
Here it is late afternoon in US CDT, and the word "resigned" appears nowhere in any West Media story. Nor has CNN/BBC/SKY ever mentioned the number of other ministers who quit and the timing of Kuleba's impending resignation to convey the true context of what happened today. Yet, outside the US, an avalanche of reports all day long to the above effect. WHY? Why does the West Media lie by omission to us in such a transparent way? Why can't they just tell the truth??
1
Rumour mill buzzing after Russian FM said France is sending a 2,000 man expeditionary force to Ukraine. Of course France denies it; however if it is true then far more than just France must be about to send troops. 2,000 soldiers would just be a convenient target, no matter which NATO country they are from. 20,000 would at least make the Russians think before opening fire.
1
That is a dam fine suit he's wearing tho...
1
Langley, Virgina; all roads lead there.
1
No more "this money allows our military to get new stuff while sending old stuff to Ukraine". That didn't work; they want to send brand new 155mm, GLSDB, HIMARS, etc. BRAND NEW off the line to Ukraine. CURRENT dollars, not dollars depreciated 25 years ago. Money we can USE FOR A HUNDRED OTHER MORE IMPORTANT THINGS.
1
Whatever credibility Austin had three years ago long ago was irrevocably destroyed by his parroting of the Biden Admin. line in Ukraine. Even when a toddler could see it was hopeless, there he was talking like the Abrams tanks were within 10km of Moscow (they were, but they were on a Russian truck headed to a war museum). Now, even on matters that don't have anything to with with Urkaine directly, no one believes a word out of his mouth. Same for Blinken, and all other WH talking heads... When you lie about one thing; no one trusts anything else you say..."
1
LOL. NY Times article the other day says otherwise. All the CIA bases we've spread over Ukraine to keep our proxy in check?? Are those staffed by aliens then Joe??
1
I have had enough of Zelensky and his nationalists. The United States doesn't OWE Ukraine a dam thing! They need to learn to live with their bigger and more powerful neighbors like humans have had to for the last 10,000 years. Few nations ever had some "bigger bully" to run to when they were threatened, to artificially inflate them so they could stand up to their challenger, and those that did often found out the "bigger bully" wanted more from them in return than they would have lost to their rival. The DEMs and the Biden Admin can gfy because this was THEIR policy decision to tangle with the Bear, now that it has gone the other way they demand we should help them out of their mess.
1
Sullivan knew better than to answer about "capabilities"; as he rightly smelled a set up. Everyone knows AFU has one shell for every ten Russia has, so if he got too "yeah baby, get some!" about their capabilities, the follow up would be "so exactly how can a country with no ammo, no guns, not enough troops, under daily bombardment possibly execute such a feat?" At that point the noose is around his neck: he must either spin some yarn that no one believes, or admit the US Reaper drone that targets for Ukraine in the Black Sea had something to do with it. Smart guy; that is why he has the position he has.
1
"Running the war"??? So it really IS the US using its proxy, Ukraine, to boink Russia in the rear-hole?
1
Zelensky decsions: 2022 reject peace agreement 2023 split NATO-trained army to hold Bakhmut, weaking it so that Zaporizhzhia offensive failed completely 2023 send UK-trained marines to Krinky to get on CNN/BBC/SKY, where they were completely destroyed for zero gain 2024 send new NATO-trained army into Kursk to get on CNN/BBC/SKY, instead of to Donbas where it was needed Can this "expert" point to ONE factual reason for anyone to have any faith in his decision making??"
1
Ousting him may be a strategy in and of itself as it'll push everything back for weeks. Zelensky's Presidential term ends on May 21, and no one knows for sure if he'll be Constitutionally legitimate or not after that. Who knows? A month from now an Armistice and the US saves $60B. Mike Johnson will become everyone's favorite guy after that
1
Wont change anything; every Western leader tried to talk sense to Zelensky but Biden always gives him a few billion more so why negotiate?
1
I commented that if Trump wins the State Department should be thoroughly reviewed, as it has over 77,000 employees and its job is to negotiate Treaties and Trade Agreements. YouTube deleted it...
