I cannot wait to see this. It is something I've dreamed of for decades. The last time anything major was done about illegal immigration was 1986 when I was in middle school. I didn't understand what "amnesty" meant and none of the things that were supposed to happen after that amnesty were done, mostly because the DEMs never really wanted strong borders; their policy for 40 years has been open borders.

@azaquihelify My parents came here legally in 1961: student visa, performed ALL the steps required to become naturalized, followed the law at the time to the letter ; they came to a country with more opportunity, the US got two new citizens with college degrees. Win - Win. Why should illegal immigrants not have to do the same? What justification can you argue for the US not to control immigration so that we are selective in who we admit so that we maximize the benefit to our country?
