  2. Problem is even if the AA system locks on and fires on it; the missile cannot really damage it very much. AA missiles are designed to shred aluminum and titanium skinned fuselage; a gravity bomb is encased in steel. The fragments produced from nearby missile warhead detonation just bounce off.

  4. I hope the T-90M survives, it has been my favorite tank for the last few years. I think of the role of tanks now as kind of like a battleship; its role is to absorb most of the enemy fire while dishing out the pain. However the battle is actually won by the cruisers and destroyers around the battleship who don't get shot at very much while the battleship is there. They deliver crushing blows with torpedoes that actually put more hurt on the enemy than the battleship did. Maybe that is the future for the tank? Take the blows during the assault, while the battle is actually won by other vehicles or weapons?

  7. It is far, FAR worse for the West. Ukraine already possess 70% of the equipment of the same type or very similar to what the Russian Army uses; only the very latest Russian weapons like the drones and newest missiles would have any intelligence value and since those are munitions, they usually destroy themselves in use. Russia doesn't have a "super-tank" or "super-plane" to capture as RU doesn't philosophically arm itself with wunderwaffe ; the Russian way is tough, simple, rugged and build thousands of them. When RU captures Western stuff its like an intelligence bonanza every time.
