  2. You'll never in your life see it in a Western source, but since May, 2023, Russia has tactically been very, very operationally efficient. They bypass strongooints and flank them, probe for weak points, use terrain features expertly, and quickly exploit break throughs. Of course they take losses, their attacks sometimes repelled, make mistakes....but overall when you look at the number of battles and the scope of a 600 mile front, they have taught a master class in Modern Warfare on land.

  4. About this Kursk thing, I have to hand it to NATO, I didn't see this one coming where they suddenly allow Western weapons to go into Russia. A year ago Scholz was horrified at the thought of German tanks driving toward Moscow because that would mean Germany was at war with Russia---again. However NATO is losing so they change the rules.... There was a reason they didn't allow it before and that reason hasn't changed...."

  14. Russia's new Lancet drone decided on its own to hit a Ukrainian MLRS when a supply truck was driving right past the rocket launcher. It decided on its own that the MLRS was more valuable to destroy so it chose it instead of the truck. Skynet is here...

  16. One thing this war has shown that we've never seen before; the amateur military channels are almost as accurate as anything inside a national defense HQ. The reason is the soldiers themselves post exactly where they are and what they are doing 24/7. While they can of course lie or be mistaken, if you add in social media posts by civilians (who simply post dramatic events out of habit), the result is 90% accuracy of most events.

Whatever Putin said during his meeting with Army HQ four days ago must have gotten through: starting the morning after that meeting, Russia has wiped out the Ukrainian Air Force, smashed Ukraine's Kherson landings, overcome stiff AFU resistance in Avdiivka, and easily repelled an armored attack near Robotyne (just in case AFU thought they had to weaken that sector to support Avdiivka). Heckuva "halftime speech" Putin must have given....

The whole point of defenses are to make the price of getting through them too high; so the enemy goes somewhere else, or commits a massive force (taking that massive force away from offensive operations elsewhere). That's it. So, the only way to understand who is "winning" the Battle of Robotyne is to know if the price Ukraine is paying for going forward is detrimental to their war plan, or expected and acceptable. Barring a complete rout by either side, like an encirclement of Ukraine or Russia scatters and runs to Azov, we have no idea. 10,000 troops and 200 vehicles may be the "price" AFU decided getting through this phase is worth. Maybe not. AFU has asked Zelensky for another round of mobilization so that could mean they are losing more troops than they planned or the factored that in from the beginning. We just will not know for sure until the war is over.

  23. Tactically this matches what all the other mil bloggers I follow have said of the situation, though only this channel specifically called out active RU attack on one of the flanks. Robotyne has looked like a trap to pretty much everyone paying attention for almost a month now, but RU simply hasn't chosen to try to "spring" the trap. Maybe not enough AFU inside it to justify the losses closing that trap will surely cause?

  25. Yesterday Weeb estimated only about 150 AFU in that "pocket". Not a HUGE encirclement but if it happens again a bit further north, it will be about 1000 AFU in that pocket.

It is going to be very tough for me as an American once WW3 starts because up to now, the only American casualties are the "Tik Tok" warriors who volunteered to go because they thought war was fun. Those that survived, left last summer right before the "Counteroffensive" because they knew their chances of survival were about zero. However, even if we start it, once it is US Army vs. RU Army of course I have to choose my own country over Russia, even though I know our government is the aggressor. I MUST vote Trump in before that happens...."

  34. No more hiding in the Western press: Forbes has article up this morning on "how Russia used a NK missile to blow up two Ukrainian supply depots". I KNEW something unusual happened when the US put Adm. Kirby up there with maps and charts just a few days after Russia's huge air raid. To get a response like that from the US meant whatever Russia hit was critical indeed.

  39. A few other channels have noted the recent FPV domination as well. They guess it is due to the naval blockade a few months ago. Ukraine was smuggling tons of stuff in grain ships. Not finished weapons, but things they could make into weapons. All that is gone now and its starting to show

  42. I said in December 2021 that Biden and the meat-heads advising him have no idea what they are getting into tangling with Russia. Russia does not "play" at war. Just like 1943: Russia is holding a defensive line; bleeding and wearing down their enemy, while back in Siberia the factories run day and night pumping out weapons. Once the enemy attack is spent, they go on the offensive with a tsunami of new equipment and the steamroller doesn't stop until Berlin.

  46. Something isn't right. In just the past two months Ukraine has suffered at the lowest end 30,000 casualties. Even if you cut that in half, that is a monstrous number....as the annual rate is over 85,000. That is more men than Ukraine currently has deployed.

Pray for the success of the Russian "steamroller" that is about to be unleashed. Just as in 1943, Russia is on the side of Justice in this war; as every nation has the right not to be threatened by the menace of enemy missiles moved ever closer to its territory.

  49. I liken this to a sports contest, like basketball. There is a point in a game, which up to then was close, where you can almost physically sense one team is about to crack. They've been back-and-forth all game but then someone hits a three, then they steal the ball from the opponent and hit another three, and you can see on the faces of the opponent they are staggered. They then miss a shot badly and the same guy who hit two threes, hits another and the crowd goes wild. That is the point AFU is at; RU has just broken open a game that's been back-and-forth up to now; they sense the time to 'pour it on" is now..."
