  1. Thank you for mentioning the cataclysm 11,000 years ago in what is today Western Canada.. Whether it was an asteroid, coronal mass ejection, or primitive hunter gatherers building too many fires it doesn't matter. What matters is there was a tremendous event that raised global sea levels over 400' and swallowed up any evidence of the prior civilization, advanced or not.. I personally find it extremely hard to believe that we as sapien Erectus males had 200,000++ years with these hands and this brain to do nothing but scratch rocks?! I find that very hard to believe...
