Can you say upper atmospheric nuclear testing?! This is what punched a hole in the ozone layer not a bunch of little old ladies with hairspray, it's well known that the surface layer and the stratosphere don't mix well and it would take a lifetime for it to even permeate that level of the atmosphere. Not really sure what the purpose of this video is other than to possibly reignite the frantic paranoia of the '80s which I guess isn't a terrible thing, but the biggest impact humans have on the protective layer between our atmosphere and space really is rockets and their engines punching holes in the ozone layer. I'm glad we stopped using leaded gasoline, I'm glad we stopped testing nuclear weapons above ground, I'm glad people are conscious of our impacts on the blue spaceship we all live on, but the sun has a far greater impact on the warming or subsequent cooling of our environments than anything we could do.
