  9. It already is. Through conservation cities are actually using the same amount of water even though the populations have gone up. This is climate change folks. Golf courses don't stop the snow and rain.

Blaming people for living where they live when in fact the big problem is drought exasperated by climate change. Even if no one took a sip of water that wouldn't bring the rains and snows back and it wouldn't stop the reservoirs from evaporating like crazy because of the longer hotter heat waves. Cities in these regions are not using any more water than they did twenty years ago thanks extensive water conservation measures. Golf course's in particular are using 5X less water than they did 40 years ago.

Climate change is not a political issue no matter how hard the right wing try's to paint it as such. Believe it or not Republicans used to care about the environment many moons ago, long before they became the party of conspiracy theorys and terrorism.
