  3. Steve Angell , You can't take people's money.... As far as technology replacing workers, that has been said for decades....hasn't happened yet. What jobs are you talking? Fast food jobs?

  4. Micha EL , Actually there are many jobs that cannot use automation, until true AI is developed, which may never happen. Most of the jobs that everyone is fearful of automation domination, are minimum wage jobs, such as fast food. Minimum wage jobs are NOT meant to be career, long term employment. Even in factories, a human staff will ALWAYS be required. The problem is that our education institutions are pushing worthless degrees. What the smart young people are doing is getting training in high demand employment areas, such as healthcare, plumbing, electrical, etc... robotic automation will never completely take over all aspects of any industry. You can argue all you want to push your agenda, but I'm trying to keep it real.

  5. Steve Angell , Lmao. A computer playing chess isn't even close to AI. That is only an algorithm with massive computing power. LOL. Not even close to AI. Even computers who program themselves, isn't true AI. Unless there is a major breakthrough in the field, we may be hundreds of years from true AI, if even then. The brick laying machine at it's best, still had to have humans loading bricks and keeping it on the right path. They didn't "downgrade " it, as you claim. That is the best it ever was.

  6. chris pontarolo , Lol. You both need to do a little research. You are talking hardware. AI is software. You both understand that AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, right? I'm not trying to be insulting, but neither of you seem to understand that an algorithm isn't intelligence. Nor is exotic hardware equivalent to Artificial Intelligence. The exotic hardware may be a breakthrough in computing speed and capacity, and that is good and will be helpful in developing AI, however there is MUCH work to be done before we can even come close to actual Artificial Intelligence. Believe me, I want to see it happen, however I doubt it will happen in my lifetime.
