The Constitution must be followed!!! These worthless politicians should have known this information!!! So tired of these worthless Republicans, yet will never vote Democrat...Democrats are 100 times worse. They had years to get their shit together and work up a replacement, but sat on their asses doing NOTHING!!! We need to replace them ALL with new Republicans who will work FOR THE PEOPLE, and not themselves!!!

FreeEarCandy , The problem with Socialism is that it doesn't work. Human nature precludes it's success. The best way to make a country stagnate and stifle innovation is to GIVE everyone the same thing, with no way to get ahead. That is why our country has become one of the most innovative and successful country in the world and why socialist countries continue to decline. Capitalism works and works well. Everyone has the same opportunity to succeed with hard work. If people want to get free stuff for no work, then they should move to a different country.

FreeEarCandy , I agree with your points, as well. You bring to light an interesting point. Even with the best automation/ Robotics, some workers will still be needed. Fewer workers will be needed ( we are MANY decades, in my opinion from that being a problem), but would socialism work at that time? Why would someone want to watch over/ run a machine or perform any other meaningful work, when they could be taken care of while sitting on their asses playing Xbox? Maybe a better approach would be a population reduction and control... I don't like that idea either, but it makes as much sense as socialism. ...

FreeEarCandy , I agree. However, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the United States isn't a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic. Our forefathers realized that the "majority" is rarely correct.

FreeEarCandy , I must say, I like the way you think! I have heard of the concept that the more learn (mainly in the scientific community) the more we realize how much we do not know, which actually brings us to acknowledge that we are actually going backwards in "true knowledge". It's an amusing concept, but valid in every respect. Applying that to social engineering is very interesting. I'll definitely have to think about that.
