  2. Francisco Parada , International law states that to claim refugee status, you must seek refuge in the closest available country that is stable. These people have been invited to stay in Guatemala and Mexico, yet they refuse.....so don’t try pulling that “I am hungry” nonsense...

  3. Steven Stone , “Refugees” are fleeing for their lives....not for a better economic situation..... that’s my point...these people are NOT “refugees”. They are invaders! “IF” they want to “migrate” here legally, they can apply at a United States Embassy in their country of origin.... we have one in every county!

  6. Mey Puim , I’m truly glad you and your family made it here. Your story is exactly why the United States has always take real refugees. The fake “refugees” as we see in this and the previous invasion will change our policies hopefully for the better. I honestly hope we will continue to take in people like your family, but after the abuses we are seeing, only time will tell.

  7. Grandpa the Grey , When you were in Mexico 20 years ago, would they have allowed 1000 people enter their southern border unchecked?😂😂😂 No, they would not have! In fact, if those people had forced their way across the border, they would have been shot. You know it, too! It’s happened many times in the past, where individuals were shot sneaking across Mexico’s southern border. So, don’t pretend you know everything. Part of my family came here legally, from Mexico and just because you visited there 20 years ago to a resort area, doesn’t mean chit.
