  3. DEploribus Unum , Lol....I never said the Union workers are bad. They are like anyone else and want to get as much money as they can, whether they deserve it or not. The “Union” is the structure/higher ups. “Union workers” are no different than factory workers. Their jobs are mostly low skill that almost anyone can be trained to do. The difference is they are paid outrageous sums of money, because the Unions have a stranglehold on some businesses. That is why they move overseas. If Unions were done away with, we would have an abundance of business moving back to the United States because they would be able to pay their workers a fair wage and make a profit. Did you know that the recent GM strike was over wages? The average worker at GM made $63/hr with benefits. Benefits account for about 20% of that. So, most of these workers are making around $40/hr for a basic factory job and they wanted even more!!!! It’s outrageous. No wonder GM wants to move it’s factories to Mexico’s.
