TakeDeadAim , What the Captain did isn’t acceptable in ANY branch of the Military! “IF” you were in the Navy, then you should know that ALL personnel are required to follow the chain of command. There are even chains to protest a decision handed down from your superiors. It is NEVER acceptable to run to the media, especially when the information relays the readiness of a particular unit or ship in this case. The Captain is lucky he’s not being charged with treason!
