Illegal immigrants do not ever work with police to help solve crime. That is such a bullshit reason to justify protecting illegal immigrants.

Chad Hudson, Exactly, and usually that is from anyone, immigrant or natural born citizens. This "excuse" that sanctuary cities are only doing this so that illegal immigrants will talk to police and help them is pure bullshit.

juniorkool21, How ? I worked construction in San Antonio for many years. I know exactly what I'm talking about. This is the problem with the left. Accusations with nothing to back it up.

juniorkool21, Well, see. This is where you are guilty of what you accused. You are uneducated in the reality of the situation. In Mexico a person never helps the police 99% of the time. Turning in a criminal or working with the police in Mexico, could and often time does, result in your death and or your family's death. Just because they are in the United States means nothing. This mentality of "mind your own business" is ingrained into them at a very early age. So, you may get the occasional help from an illegal immigrant, but certainly not enough to justify Sanctuary Cities. It's just a failed arguing point for politicians to use in order to protect a particular voter base.

juniorkool21, Yes I have been to Mexico and have family members that were born there. It is impossible to get any reliable statistics from/in Mexico. I don't think you understand how thing work in Mexico. Their government is not 100% in control of the country. There is widespread corruption at every level of government and it isn't unfair to say that basically the drug cartels rule Mexico. Yes, 99% is just my opinion and a made up number, but I would be willing to say it's close to the real number, knowing the mindset of the majority of the Mexican people. I would be willing to say that their is a large % of Americans with similar views of not cooperating with the police in the inner cities. I haven't heard of even 1 case of an illegal immigrant working with the police. Has anyone ever made such a claim? The fact of the matter is these cities who refuse to uphold the law are putting American citizens at risk for serious crime.
