@markkozlowski3674 , Name where in the Constitution that states that one Branch has authority over another… you can’t because the Branches being completely independent IS the “checks and balances”. 🙄

@markkozlowski3674 , Yes… but Congress cannot make laws that affect the Executive Branch, NOR the Judicial Branch. The Judicial Branch can overturn laws, if deemed unconstitutional.

@markkozlowski3674 , The Constitution authorizes the Legislative branch with the “power of the purse”. They do NOT have the authority to defund any branch of Government. They have never even tried to do so…..EVER.

@barbiedahl , And YOU don’t even realize that we are NOT a democracy.we are a Constitutional Republic. Our founding fathers knew and wrote about the idiocy of “democracy” … a system of “mob rule”. You should really do some historical research, hunny. Edit - just looked at your pic… not hunny… last word in sentence should be “Dude”.
