  1. Ok, you also mention ancient Greek. I have nine college credits of ancient Greek it is very different from modern as well. For instance ancient Greek has long vowels, as well as short vowels, while modern Greek has only short vowels as well as other differences. I am dubious as to whether these people would be able to converse with modern people.
